We want to be upfront with you, Learning by Questions is designed as an in-class teaching and learning tool, rather than a distributed learning tool. However, the nature of our cloud-based platform means that it can be used to deliver our Question Sets to pupils from multiple locations. We have schools around the world who are already using LbQ with their remote pupils following the closure of their schools. We're here to help you during this challenging time! If you have any questions, please contact us, and we'll respond as soon as possible. Please stay safe and healthy, The Learning by Questions team ## Information for teachers Learning by Questions is an essential classroom teaching and learning tool, but it has been known to be used to allow learners to log in from home. LbQ is cloud based and enables learners to join a session using personal computers, tablets, Chromebooks and iPads. Learning by Questions delivers formative assessment and instant feedback to learners. Our platform offers: * Self-paced learning Question Sets for pupils to practise and for teachers to check their understanding. * Unit assessments and KS2 SATs preparation * Instant learner feedback with each question * Automatic marking Teachers can log in as normal to plan and select Question Sets for their learners. When you Start a Task, the system will generate a login code for your class to use on that day. You will need to have a means of communicating the 3-character code to your learners in order for them to use it at home or wherever they are studying. You can also inform the learners about which Task/Question Set you want them to work on. You can set the code to last to as late as 23.55 local time, but you can end and start sessions at any time. Each teacher account enables a logged-in teacher to run up to three concurrent tasks. The Results Matrix and dashboard will update in real-time while your learners are working through a Question Set. ## Resources ### Videos The following videos illustrate how easy it is for you and your learners to use LbQ remotely. **[Getting started: How to set pupils a Question Set](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SujQW0X1SiE/)** **[How Pupils can access LbQ from home](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlMw6rqSuak/)** **[How to find the resources you want to teach](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZqWBkjVr_k/)** [**How to view the LbQ results matrix**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cco1PuUG6YA&feature=youtu.be/) [**How to navigate the LbQ dashboard**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj0CMTIQC2c&feature=youtu.be/) ### Downloadable content You can download and print a pdf version of this webpage [here](/filestore/BlogImage/1d661e7a-dd66-4f53-8e85-a2c0418c2dd5/61a3a5a0-55de-40a1-856c-51ea4646fcd9LbQTeacherInfo(3).pdf).
