About our Primary Maths content

Our award-winning maths Question Sets can be used alongside any existing scheme of work. We provide full coverage of the National Curriculum objectives for KS2, with supplementary KS1 sets to address any gaps in prior learning.

All LbQ’s Primary Maths sets support the concrete-pictorial-abstract learning approach to help pupils develop deep understanding. ‘Mastery’ sets contain four levels, with pupils following a carefully scaffolded pathway towards achieving mastery of concepts.

Level 1 contains a recap of essential prior learning, varied visual representations and image support. When ready, pupils are then automatically moved on to answer more abstract questions in Level 2 before progressing to reasoning and problem solving in Levels 3 and 4.

In addition to full mastery sets, we have a variety of sets that are ideal for further practice, consolidation, revision or assessment:

  • Practice sets
  • Topic reviews
  • White Rose Maths block reviews
  • Ready-to-Progress assessments
  • Reasoning
  • Problem solving
  • End-of-year summative assessments
  • National Curriculum Test (SATs) assessments
  • Multiplication Tables Checks
